The Willamette Valley is Oregon’s most recognized appellation for cool climate varietals, and it is in the Northern part of this region where the finest vineyards are found - an epicenter we refer to as the North Valley. From within this region of rolling hillsides and diverse soils, the North Valley Vineyards Partners create three tiers of exceptional wines: “Classics,” “Origins,” and “Reserves.”

The “Classics” are the core bottlings in our portfolio. We source certified sustainable vineyards of real "Cru" quality for these personality-driven regional blends. Meticulous, hands-on attention to farming practices throughout the growing season - from flowering through harvest - and minimal handling in the winery assure a level of quality normally associated exclusively with estate-grown wines. We think of each vineyard site we work with as a "satellite estate property,” as the source of our genuine commitment to
making the best wines we can. Each of these wines, whether Pinot Noir, Chardonnay or Rose, represents a regional vineyard blend selected from a handful of great sites, the sum of which exceeds the individual parts. You can count on exceptional quality, and exceptional value, each year from these core bottlings. These wines are immediately accessible and delicious, and while they will reward short-term aging, we hope you will enjoy them early and often.
The “Origins” wines are limited production bottlings representing the sub-appellations of the Northern Willamette Valley: the Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge, Eola-Amity Hills, Yamhill-Carlton District, Chehalem Mountain area, and McMinnville AVA’s. The micro-climates, soil types, and other characteristics of each of these areas, when translated into wine, reveal the nature of their “Origins” in definitive ways. The flavor profiles, acid and tannin structural components, and their mouthfeel on the palate,
define these wines as unique reflections of their sources. We produce these wines only when the focus and quality of the specific vintage illuminates this purpose. While fully accessible in their youth, for those who enjoy their wines as they evolve in the bottle, our “Origins” wines will provide even more to enjoy with short-term or longer bottle aging. We are proud to introduce this new series of limited production wines, debuting from the magnificent 2012 vintage!

Our “Reserves” are simply the very finest wines we can craft. From each harvest we set aside the best quality fruit to produce one Pinot Noir and one Chardonnay of truly exceptional character. The “Reserves” come from many of our diverse vineyard sources, and we endeavor to include fruit from the finest barrels from at least four of the sub-appellation “Origins” vineyards. The primary goal
of the “Reserves,” however, is to achieve total overall quality and harmony. These limited production wines are very appealing upon release but will also reward extended aging in your cellar, where their innate complexities will reveal themselves more over time, as all truly great wines do. These are the finest Northern Willamette Valley wines that we can share with you each year.
