The Willamette Valley is Oregon’s most recognized appellation for cool climate varietals, and it is in the Northern part of this region where the finest vineyards are found - an epicenter we refer to as the North Valley. From within this region of rolling hillsides and diverse soils, the North Valley Vineyards Partners create two tiers of exceptional wines: “Classics,” and “Reserves.”
QUINTESSENTIAL OREGON WINES
The “Classics” are the core bottlings in our portfolio. We source certified sustainable vineyards of real "Cru" quality for these personality-driven regional blends. Meticulous, hands-on attention to farming practices throughout the growing season - from flowering through harvest - and minimal handling in the winery assure a level of quality normally associated exclusively with estate-grown wines. Each of these wines, whether Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, represents a regional vineyard blend selected from a handful of great sites, the sum of which exceeds the individual parts. You can count on exceptional quality and exceptional value from these core bottlings every year; while they will reward short-term aging, we hope you will enjoy them early and often.
OUR FINEST EXPRESSION
Our “Reserves” are simply the very finest wines we can craft. From each harvest we set aside the best quality fruit to produce one Pinot Noir and one Chardonnay of truly exceptional character. The “Reserves” come from many of our diverse vineyard sources, and we endeavor to include fruit from the finest barrels from at several of the sub-appellation vineyards. The primary goal of the “Reserves,” however, is to achieve total overall quality and harmony. These limited production wines are very appealing upon release but will also reward extended aging in your cellar, where their innate complexities will reveal themselves more over time, as all truly great wines do. These are the finest Northern Willamette Valley wines that we can share with you each year.
